I i need a decorator that adds a local variable in the function it
decorates, probably related with nested scopes, for example:
def dec(func):
def wrapper(obj = None):
if not obj : obj = Obj()
<bind obj to func>
return func()
return wrapper()

I wish to execute code from a string. The string will have a function name,
which will return a string:
Dim a as string
a = "MyFunctionName(param1, param2)"
I have seen a ton of people discuss how reflection does this, but I cannot
find the syntax to do this. I have tried several code example off of
gotdotnet and other articles. Can somebody please show me the code to do
this?

Can anybody tell me what the code is doing?
If return another function all in a function I would do

I am often in the situation where I want to act on the result of a function,
but a simple boolean is not enough. For example, I may have a function
called
isAuthorised ( User, Action ) as ?????
OK, this function may return a boolean, and if this is true, then no message
back is really required, but if it fails then some supporting message needs
to be returned to the calling code. As I see it there are a few options.

Ahoy... before I go off scouring particular platforms for specialized
answers, I thought I would see if there is a portable C answer to this
question:
I want a function pointer that, when called, can be a genuine no-op.
Consider:
typedef int(*polymorphic_func)(int param);

Hi,
I have just written a simple program to get me started in C that
calculates the number of days since your birthdate.
One thing that confuses me about the program (even though it works) is
how global variables and function returns work...
For example, I have a global array "char datestring;" which is
defined in the function speakdate. speakdate just converts a set of
integers (date variables) to a string.

hi,
I would like to separate my javascript completely from my xhtml. in the
end there should be only
<script type="text/javascript" src="javalib.js"></script>
in the head-tag to my javascript.
Because I want to use some ajax-requests and other javascript-functions
on my xhtml, I need to dynamically add event handlers to any possible
dom-elements. All solutions I found so fare are for specific, pre-known

I am getting the following warning for the below function. I understand what
it means but how do I handle a null reference? Then how do I pass the
resulting value?
Regards
Warning 1 Function 'Dec2hms' doesn't return a value on all code paths. A
null reference exception could occur at run time when the result is used.

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it.
First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...
