I wonder if it was possible to change the opacity of an image in a picturebox for example :
I try to make a splash screen that shows up images (one after one). But i would like to change the opacity of the images as the program loads itself... like a progressbar..
And is there a way to make the image b&w too?
Do I need a special library?

I want to read an image from disk, get the total width,
and then find the bottom region (say an area of 120 high
x the total width) and fade-away each pixel by a
percentage to white, and then output that memory-modified
image to the HTTP stream.
Where should I look for info or samples on doing that?

My asp.net application send image to web browser. The browser begin to display part of image before download finished. (In Slow Network). How can I force brower to display image after the image fully downloaded? IIS, HTML or Internet Explore??

I have a form with a irregular background image, let say a circle.
I would like the form shows and that fade out and close slowly.
I have already done the fade out part by the timmer to set the form
opacity.
However, I set the transparent key of the form be white in color,
when the form start to fade out, The white part of the form is not
transparent anymore,
How can the white color part of the form keep transparent?
