I am trying to catch mouse position on the entire screen by dynamically generating mouse click event at every 100 ms. My code only works for IEs but not any Netscape or Gecko-based browsers. The following are the problems and I hope that there is someone who can enlighten me or give me some pointers. Also, my testing code is attached at the end. And please don't ask me why I am doing this - it is one of functional requirements by all...

In my attempt to make a macro recording program where i can then playback mouse movements i'm running into a big problem: I'm trying to simulate the movement of the mouse to a point on the screen. With my current code the mouse is only moving in the X direction and not in the Y direction (however my debug line is telling me that it's trying to move in the Y as well). I've read everything I could find online, tried some hacky ways of...

What i want to do, is, in the Activate Event of my form, determine which is the mouse possition, or, maybe even easy, just determine if the mouse is over my form. I need to do two differents things on that event, based on if the mouse is over the form or not.. Any help? Thanks.

If I have a number of random applications open, move the mouse cursor to a given position and do a click, the application gets the focus. That is what this simple code should illustrate: Dim pt As Point Dim wnd As IntPtr Const WM_LBUTTONUP = &H202 '//LButton up Const WM_LBUTTONDOWN = &H201 '//LButton down

I have 6 small touch screens that are connected to my pc to a special video card. The video driver splits up my screen in six sections, 3 across the top and 3 across the bottom. They are all even size. Now the video card displays a section of my screen to the corresponding touch screen. I have a separate app that release the touch(mouse) location on the small touch screen back to my main pc and moves the mouse to the appropriate location on...

I have the opportunity to rescue a project that uses a mouse to sense the relative position of a machine. The hardware is built...just needs to be programmed. Stop snickering!!! I didn't do it...I just gotta fix it. I need to make some calculations on the measurements and VB6 is my language. Yes, the system mouse will corrupt the measurement, but it's an auditing function and that's acceptable.

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it. First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends, With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies.
