I am trying to make a simple data editor in Tkinter where each data
element has a corresponding Entry widget. I have tried to use the
FocusIn/FocusOut events to set a 'hasChanged' flag (if a record has not
changed, the db doesn’t need updating). This seems to work fine except
that when the user finishes and clicks a ‘done’ button or the close
window button (in the root widget) no FocusOut event is triggered. I
can trigger a FocusOut...

I am having trouble figuring out to call a database INSERT procedure from a
simple submit form.
It appears I should use the onclick event to trigger the procedure called
BUT when I do this I receive this error:
'btnInsert_Click' is not a member of 'ASP.Insert_aspx'.
I realise the procedure is houwsed in a sub which may be what is
causing the problem, but I am stumped on how to connect the form to the .NET

Hello,
I hope I can explain this properly. I'm writing an application with a
tabbed-based navigation, and a form which gets filled out by users will
be split into 5 subtabs. What I need is instead of the user needing to
hit a SUBMIT button each time the form within a tab is complete (Before
clicking the next tab), I want clicking any tab to submit the data.
I'm affraid that by not doing this, people will fill out the data in
tab 1,...

If auto-format is turned off in VS2008, there is apparently no way to
indent a line. Under Tools->Options->Text Editor->C#->Formatting,
there are three checkboxes. Unchecking those seems to cause this
behavior.
I'd simply like to have the tab key insert a tab at the beginning of a
line. I believe that there were publlished macros for doing this in
earlier VS versions, but I expected this to be 'fixed' in VS2008. Yes,
I realize someone...

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it.
First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
