Using Oracle 8i on Win2k. Here's my problem:
I can connect with SYS and can select from any table from schema JEFFX
by prefixing tables with said schema name. eg: SELECT * FROM
JEFFX.PROJ;
However I want to run a "recompile all invalid objects" script on my
JEFFX user / schema. Namely, RDBMS\ADMIN\utlrp.sql. Running it under
SYS yields no errors. When I try to run it when connected as JEFFX, I
get errors such as:

Hello,
I want to create a generic script that connects to Oracle databases
(from 7.3.4 to 9.2 version) with a guest user. This script should
return 1 if connection is successful and 0 if not.
My problem is due to the 3 requests for password when the connection
fails. I can't find any option that allows to ask for password only
one time.
Has anyone already written a such script?

I have an Access2002 database that needs to connect to an Oracle
Database. I connected to my Oracle DB in a simple VB6 app using no ODBC
data source. How do I do the same thing using VBA in Access?
Below is the code I used in the VB app to connect to the Oracle
database, and I just can't seem to get it translated to ADO in
Access/VBA.
Any assistance is appreciated.

I would like to create a unix script to connect to an ORACLE database using a oracle package. Also this script should provide functionality to call an oracle procedure that contains a parameter value that is passed to it. The parameter value passed to the procedure should be "editable" i.e user should be able to change it.
