Hi @ll,
I was wondering why I lose the connection to the mail store while retrieving information from it
without
calling the method store.close()! At the end I found out that the method folder.close(boolean) also
close the store!
Following you see the debug log of the JavaMail API:

Does anyone know where I can find a client-side function I can reference from within an
HTML/JavaScript web page? I'm currently using a core PHP function to do this, but I'd rather do it
on the client-side and not have to upload the large raw image to the server.
Thanks in advance for your help.
Don

Hi all,
I'm having a problem loading images for later use in javascript on the
client. In my code-behind, I'm using a stringbuilder object to build and
populate a few javascript variables like : js.append("var myjsvariable = New
Image")
js.append("myjsvariable.src = " & "http://localhost/images" & "myimage.jpg")
In one of my javascript functions, I reference this image and it is null.

Hi,
This could well be very difficult, but anyway...
A client user prepares an MS Word (2000+) document, including text and
images and then (somehow) submits all or part of that document (via
full file submit or clipboard) through an ASP.NET page. The server
then parses the doc, strips out unecessary word data and saves it as
an HTML file on the server, saves all the embedded images in a
separate folder and ensures the links to these...

Hello,
I am having a particular problem, and am unable to understand where the
problem is coming from.
I am developing C# asp.net using the original version of VS and FW 1.0. I
have field validators placed on various fields. When I run the page from
the development box the validators work correctly.
I am xcopying .aspx files and /bin directory files to distribution server.

I hope this is something I can solve without contacting the vendor:
I'm implementing a 3rd party component that will, by itself, initiate a
PostBack. Apparently it does not support the CausesValidation property - so
forms get posted back without any client-side validation. I know I can do
validation server side (and do anyway just as a good practice), but I want
this control (which is basically an ImageButton) to trigger client-side...

Hi All,
I'm developing a website to handle some code/application version
control on a intranet. I'm using cherrypy and pysvn. Everything runs
quite good but i want the user to be able to checkout some projects
from the server. The user(on the client side) selects a folder in his
machine (i.e.: C:\Project1) and the server should checkout
(download/copy) all the project selected to the client machine. But
what happens is that the webserver...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
