Hello,
I am researching ideas for a long term project and am currently
investigating Java's capability for processing live video feed.
I wish to examine digital video feed in real time and do such operations
as:
i) Define all pixels as either foreground or background (depending on
whether they have the same colour as the predefined background).

Hi,
we are trying to create a Java video Streaming server.
We use the (Java Media FrameWork) JAVA JMF API.
We succeed in sending data from the server, and reading them on the client
side.
We need for the client side to bufferize part of the data before starting
the reading.
as is done in Real or windows media players.

Hello all,
Please provide any advice on a venture that is pretty foreign to me:
I'm going to have a webcam at a remote location that is capturing live
images of a construction site. This webcam is going to need to stream
directly to the clients web site sitting on a webserver with basically
unlimited bandwidth. I saw that there are several wireless web cameras
provided by D-Link and Linksys that provide a view through a web based...

Hi guys
I am currently involved in a project which requires me to recieve and
play streaming video as well as send it. In Visual C++ is there any
free library which helps me do this as 'streaming' is not part of the
actual project, i am allowed to use external libraries. Also could
anyone tell me where I can learn about video streaming in c++ so I can
code the streaming part myself too
thx

Hi,
Two questions for you all..
Firstly, is there a way of streaming video using PHP? At the moment I just
have a link to a video file and the whole thing downloads before playing
which is a bit of a chore as the video file is pretty huge.
Secondly, I want to restrict access to the video using a password. Can
anyone think of a nice way of doing this? I thought about having the video

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it.
First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
