When running an application under weblogic 8.1 in development
environment, where all classpaths are set up in the IDE before
launching the app server, the application runs fine. When deployed as

Hi,
I have two application modules, one an EJB App Module, and the other a
Web App Module. The Web App module uses struts, and the action class
of a form accesses an EJB bean. If I modify this class and re-deploy
the web app, the changes do not take effect. However, if I configure a
different class with a different name in struts-config.xml it works
fine. The same code with the old class name does not take effect.

Hi,
I have built a cocoon.war file, and deployed it on my BEA Weblogic 8.1
Sp2 (Windows 2000) installation. The deployment works without
exceptions, but when I try to access cocoon through
http://localhost:80/cocoon I get the following error message (stack
trace):
java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: org/apache/log/Logger
at org.apache.avalon.framework.logger.LogKitLogger.isWarnEnabled(LogKitLogger.java:122)

I just attended a free 4 hour intro to Weblogic Workshop, a free dev IDE
from BEA, and I was blown away.
I don't see how VS.NET can compare at all to Workshop...the rich interface,
the modularity...it is a stunning product.
Has anyone else compared the two?
I think Whidbey may be approaching what Workshop is ( probably just a rip
off ) but Workshop is here right now, and it's cross platform ( runs on

I built a simple .net 2.0/C# windows application that calls a web service on
WebLogic 6.1 app server. WebLogic supports SOAP 1.1, and .net 2.0 supports
SOAP 1.1 and 1.2. I am able to send simple data types (int, string, boolean)
from the client to the server, but I can't send complex types or arrays of
