How do you handle people wanting to make parallel changes to a record.
Since in web apps you are doing a select, bring over a record then
updating it, there is no lock on that record while you are making the
changes in your browser window. Does transactions handle that? Do you

I have built as .aspx page. I have a situation to create 4 panels in
a <td></td. Based on the selection of a drop down I need to display
the corresponding panel in that table cell. Every thing works fine but
I see a lot of space in the table cell that was occupied by the other
panels though they are being hidden.

I can handle DoubleClick on a ListBox to respond, not when the
selection changes, but when you double click one to invoke an action.
This is the same as using the keys to move the selection, then
pressing Enter. But, of course, DoubleClick doesn't automatically
handle that.
Is there any way to handle ALL standard UI at once, rather than
checking for DoubleClick and for Enter press manually?

Greetings,
I'm slowly building up code to do the following:-
Display TWO selection option boxes (cascading).
If the FIRST selection option box changes then reload the jsp using onchange event (not changing the option box value on relaod i.e. not re-running the SQL query).
ONLY on initial entry should the form FIRST selection option box should be populated using JDBC SQL.
