Follow the HTML/CSS tutorials from W3Schools. They are helpful and you can practice with the help of exercises and demos. Enjoy!

That link is to w3schools which is in no way affiliated with the W3C.

About W3Schools
W3Schools is owned by Refsnes Data in Norway.
Members of the W3C have asked W3Schools to explicitly disavow any connection, but they have refused to do so.

That's true. Also pietersen9, you might want to get some developer tools for your web browser (i.e. firebug for Firefox). I find it really helpful to see the code behind what you actually see. It lets you inspect the elements and debug the JavaScript. Good Luck!
