bat file to run when a certain webpage is loaded

Hi there i'm trying to write a batch file to run when a certain web page is opened the batch file will already be installed somewhere on the users computer so it just needs activating when the webpage is loaded, so far i have got the code below, it doesn't work the problem is with the iexplorer line

any help would be great

@echo off
:start
if "iexplorer" == "http://www.myurl.com" goto end
if not goto start

:end
c:\login.exe
exit

if you want to remotely run a batch file you will need to use content dispostition which needs to be done with a server side language.

The only way you can do this in a non serverside language is to provide a link the bat file explaining to users they need to click it.

or use a javascript redirect to jump to the batch file.

decide how you want to do it, and ask in the relevent forum.
