Here is a question about list comprehensions . The
question is dumb because I can do without ; but I am
posing the question because I am curious.
This:
>>> data = ,,]
>>> result =
>>> for d in data:
.... for w in d:

This question may be simple, so please bear with me.
We have a mainly ASP VBScript website running on IIS. I've installed
Python and created a CGI form which takes text input and produces a
string of URLs. The CGI page works fine.
Currently, when submitting the form the user is redirected to the CGI
file's embedded html page. I would like for the user to submit the form
and be brought back to the originating VB/ASP page with the...

Hello! I am back with another question.
Remember I am a new JavaScript student and I am aware that this code
does not check for all the possibilities and that as a "NEW"
JavaScript student I am not expected to check for everything.
At any rate, the problem I am having with the following code is that
it does not clear the fields once I press the SEND button. So can
anyone here enlighten me as to what is causing the problem.

Hi,
Im have been changing my site to make it HTML 4.01 compliant
As I should, I wrapped all INPUT tags in blocks
I wrapped the not visible INPUT type HIDDEN tags in first PRE, later H6 tags
to comply to HTML 4.01, but this changes my layout severly
In the upper right corner of http://www.dewolf.net, one can cahnge the
language of the site.

I'm using this code as part of my css to overcome a background repeat bug in
IE 5/6.

Apologies if this has been asked before, but I haven't been able to
find the answer to this yet:
My problem is that .NET will not allow me to insert escaped '>'
characters (i.e. >) within the text property of asp buttons, it
seems to strip out only those type of characters, because other escape
codes DO work (eg. "e;)
For example
<asp:button Runat=server text="test >" ID=txtTest></asp:button>

This, which is from a real web site, went into BeautifulSoup:
<param name="movie" value="/images/offersBanners/sw04.swf?binfot=We offer
fantastic rates for selected weeks or days!!&blinkt=Click here
And this came out, via prettify:
<addresssnippet siteurl="http%3A//apartmentsapart.com"
url="http%3A//www.apartmentsapart.com/Europe/Spain/Madrid/FAQ">
<param name="movie" value="/images/offersBanners/sw04.swf?binfot=We offer

Hello everyone,
I am new in PHP-programming but I am learning the basics of it.
I've got a script that uploads a picture together with all data from the inputform, to the server and places the pathname into the Mysql.
I desperately want to have the uploaded pictures resized in the meantime.
Does anyone know how to do this ? Or perhaps adjust the script with the functions, necessary for resizing ?
I would appreciate it VERY VERY much !...

I am trying to write a script where a page is populated with some maths questions, user answers them (it's timed but I've left this bit out), gets results on same page and ajax takes their score, sends it to php script which updates sql. Make sense so far?!!
The problem I have is getting their score out of javascript and into ajax and therefore into the sql record table. I have no problem sending php variables to ajax, just the javascript...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
