Does anyone here know if there is a Python Users Group in Melbourne
Australia?
A google search shows an attempt to start one at meetups.com or
something like that but it now seems defunct.

Hi all,
I'm interested in starting a Python user group in Melbourne,
Australia. So far there seems to have been a lot of interest from
various parties, but for whatever reasons it's fizzled out. So I've
decided that if there's going to be a user group, I'll have to start
it myself (hopefully without the meetup.com albatross).
If you're in Melbourne, you're a python programmer and you're
interested in meeting up, drop me an email and...

Hi all,
I'm learning CSS, and relearning HTML so I can build a website for myself, and I
was wondering if someone could help me with what seems like a simple layout that
I want to maintain no matter the browser window size. It would be much
appreciated. If you want to view it in your browser, please go to
http://homepages.ihug.com.au/~benst/index.html.
I've modified it a bit to make the edges of each segment more obvious.
Eventually I...

I'm trying to do so I ask you guys for your help, please.
I want to change a lady's logo block/page layout by date and
she doesn't want to change from a .html page suffix for fear
of losing customers and search engine status.
The current look is logo at top left, animation in the middle,
and a picture of one of her baskets on the right, which is hotlinked
to that page. I...

I am looking for some ideas for how to design the layout of the form for
data entry and to display the data for the following situation:
There are many sales associates. A sales associate can work for multiple
companies and work for multiple divisions within each company. Within each
division he can work in multiple departments and within each department he
can work with multiple groups. In each group he works on multiple projects.
All the...

I'm new to asp.net.
I have an ASP.Net form that contains literally 50 fields for the user to
enter for a contacts details.
All these fields are stored in the one table.
So I have a class that I load the values into and out of.
All that is fine.
The issue is that the form is very long vertically by the time I've added

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

The next Access Europe User Group meeting will be on Wednesday 1 May 2024 starting at 18:00 UK time (6PM UTC+1) and finishing by 19:30 (7.30PM).
In this session, we are pleased to welcome a new presenter, Adolph Dupré who will be discussing some powerful techniques for using class modules.
He will explain when you may want to use classes instead of User Defined Types (UDT). For example, to manage the data in unbound forms.
Adolph will...
