Hi all,
I'm trying to upload files doing something like gmail. I almost got it
but I have a problem when I post the form.
Basicaly, I am doing the following.
When the user presses the link I create a input type="file". Then I
fire the click event of the control and the open file dialog appears.
The user selects a file and then the onpropertychange of the control

I use hyperlinks in a subform datasheet to display locally saved documents
that are associated with individual database entries. A customer entry may
have a list of invoices in pdf format, for example:

Hi,
For the last couple of releases of a product we're developing we've been
running to very wierd behavior from IE and our ASP.NET web application which
serves up various types of files and I'm getting very frustrated in trying
to solve it!
We content we are serving up is potentially sensitive and therefore we DO
NOT want it cached on the remote client (IE) beyond the lifetime of the

Hi
I am developing a C#.Net windows application for my project.
In that project I have an IDE to work on. The application is similar to
Adobe Photoshop.
My requirement is as follows.
1) I must be able to save my work in a file with custom file extention
(similar to *.PSD in photoshop)

Can someone suggest the best technique / method of opening a Word ( or any
other ) Document from an SQL BLOB ?
I have the process of saving and retrieveing the file from an SQL Binary
field working fine, but the user 'saves' the file from the Binary field to a
binary disk file and can then open it. It would be better for them to be
able to just open the file directly for viewing etc. I can 'trigger' a load

Hello All,
Does anyone know of a method to automatically detect if a file is
corrupted ?
Due to a failed backup process a number of files were corrupted. The
files are mostly .xls, .doc, .pdf. When you try to open the file, a
dialog box opens stating that the file cannot be opened.
I need to log which files wont open properly, and I'm hoping there is
a way to automate the process.

I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
