For the last couple of months I have been trying to get the next round
of updates to the FAQ underway and been being thwarted by a heavy
workload (the project I am working on has to be finished an QA tested
for a new year release. I don't think that going to prove practical, but
there is no harm in trying :) and some serious family commitments. But
it has to be done soon so this is stage one.

Yahoo! has launched a beta of it's new mapping application:
http://maps.yahoo.com/beta/
It's based in Flash, but it uses JavaScript. I'm curious about one
feature, though - when you pan about the map, the URL in the address
bar of your browser changes to match your current location. How have
they done this? I thought calling window.location.href = "etc"; would
reload the page, navigating away from the current URL. Yahoo! have...

Hi,
I have a MS Access db MDE which is linked to some SQL tables on a server.
Now in my company we are using a certain IP address.
The same MDE is given to external company to use, but they have a different
IP address, due to firewall restrictions. So in order for the external
company to use the table, they would need to create the DSN and re-link the
tables. But I do not want them to do that, because then they can direclty
access the...

I am overriding WncProc to make sure my form's location stays within
specified parameters. Basically, it has to stay at the top of the
screen and not be off to either of the sides. All that works when the
form is in its minimal size. However, when the form is maximized using
the appropriate button the code that is supposed to set the location is
ignored. When the form is switched back to the standard dimensions
through the restore...

FAQ Topic - How do I change the text in the url/location bar?
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
This text can only be altered by changing the URL of the page.
The normal solution is to use frames, though this can introduce
problems of its own.

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
