Hi all,
I'm wondering if anyone else has noticed some odd behavious with IE6.0
colouring input boxes yellow (or any other colour!) unexpectedly?
I am using IE6.0.2 on WinXP Pro.
I had a bug report from my boss and some clients, complaining that
they were seeing yellow text input boxes on our site (when the boxes
*should* be styled grey with CSS). After some investigation I found
that not only was the same happening on my own machine on our site,
but that I've also seen it happening on other *sites* (e.g.
streetmap.co.uk , theregister.co. uk, even on the google groups sign-in
page).
I've not observed the same behaviour in Mozilla or NS (however, I've
not tested in other versions of IE). It seems to be completely random:
e.g. I can have two identically-constructed input boxes on one page,
and one will be yellow and the other styled as it is intended to be.
Has anyone else noticed the same behaviour? Is it a known IE issue? (I
can't find any relevant bug reports). Or is it just something to do
with the alignment of the planets over our office? :-)
TIA,

It's not a bug, it's 'done' by the Google Toolbar.
It highlights input boxes with certain names. http://www.htmldog.com/ptg/archives/000017.php

Beat me to that. If you use the Wand feature in Opera this occurs as well.

I know this isn't really an ASP question, but I thought you guys might know
the answer
being that you work with textboxes alot.
All of a sudden about 50% of my textboxes are yellow (as opposed to the
usual
white color). It started when I started on an ASP project, but this could
have
been coincidental. I have noticed that it shows yellow textboxes on many
other webpages.

Hi there,
I would to implement a yellow box to contain some description for visitor to
browse though a list of choices. Every time a visit clicks on the choice, a
yellow text box will appear on the current browser containing some
information for them. (NOT a Pop up window.)
I don't know how to implement this kind of yellow box. The nearest idea of
yellow box is using title="text" as below... (but the yellow box in this box

I'm developing a ASP.NET/VB.NET web application. (VS.NET 2003)
I've created several webpages, but on two pages one textbox colors yellow
(the background) and I can't get the background to appear as White as it
should by default. Even setting the background to Red doesn't prevent it,
the textbox still appears with a yellow background. With or Without using a
stylesheet the textbox still appears with a yellow background.
The textbox is...

Hi,
Even I specifically mentioned "white" as background color of all
ASP:TextBoxes of my form, Some of them come up with yellow background.
I guess it should be kind of ASP.NET behaviour, but I don't know what
exactly it means.
What is the meaning of that yellow BG color of ASP:TextBoxes ? How can I
have control over it?

OK, the direct method of setting the background color on a text-only (no
panels) statusbar control seems to fail:
Me.StatusBar1.Text = "<whatever> failed.>
Me.StatusBar1.Backcolor = Color.Yellow ' nothing changes
Me.StatusBar1.Refresh ' doesn't help either.
What convoluted work-around (must be if the simple, direct method fails) is
there for this?

I'm developing Web Applications with C# code behind. I have found that,
because of the particular nuances of my company, I am stuck with positioning
the items on the page with tables. No problem with that though.
The problem is that some of the controls on the screen are displayed with
yellow backgrounds and I can't figure out how to change that to white (as the
others are). Nothing I do seems to make a difference.
Could someone give...

I am trying to develop something in php to do a search in the yellow
pages but I dont know how. I am sure that all of the online companies
such as yp.com and yellowbook.com do not store all of that information
on their own database but I dont know where they get it.
Do you know how I can get that data and and some hints on how to code
it? I am new to php.
Thanks

I've got a TreeView that's loaded with names.
Screen snap at http://tinyurl.com/329a8m
A yellow rectangle appears as the cursor navigates the tree list.
If the cursor is left on an entry, the rectangle spontaneously
disappears after approximately 3 seconds.
In a small way, I find it annoying and assume that at least some
of my users will too.

My main from has a lot of TextBoxes. When I run the application some of

Anybody have an idea what is causing this?

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
