Hi all,
Actually I have designed a webpage and I had added keywords using
metatags to the page. When I searched for those keywords using google
or any other search engine my site didn't show up in the list. The
keywords I had chosen were quite unique. Since I am a newbie in html
programming can anyone tell me what might be going wrong?

Google won't read keywords and descriptions in meta tags because they have
been abused in the past.

Keywords and meta tags are wide open to abuse, and ignored by most search
engines. In addition, I've heard that many will view key words that appear
in meta tags without appearing in the full text as an attempt at cheating,
and will ignore the page they're found in altogether.
I am a newbie in html programming
Here's something you need to learn, then: HTML isn't programming.

First, Google does not index instantly. It may take some time for
your page to be indexed.
Even when it is, its _content_ will be indexed. Keywords that aren't
actually part of the content of the page make your page look like at
attempt to spoof the search engines, and may actually give it lower
rank or cause Google to ignore it altogether.

Web Authoring | Meta-Tags
The first thing to understand in regard to Meta Tags is the three most
important tags placed in the head of your html documents. They are the
title, description, and keyword meta-tags. If you are missing any of
these meta-tags you are missing the boat.
If you use the following meta-tag formula, and you are not trying to
deceive the spiders, I guarantee you will succeed in increasing your
placement in the...

Anybody know how to dynamically write the meta tags using code so they are
formatted on a separate line in the HTML source?
Preferred or optimal framework classes that may be used in this regard?

Hi All,
I am having huge problems with a very simple dotnet framework web page
(www.gbab.net/ztest3.aspx) , it does NOT render correctly under Apple's
Safari. The DIV's do not align amd float as they should, and do in Dotnet.
The page is really, really simple, and it has a CSS and with NO masterpage.
I have tried using the following as recommendations made earlier in this

I have a news website, with asp pages. It has publishing software which allows you to add articles in a database, and then calls them up from links etc. I have added dynamic meta tags in 2 parts. The first part is in the inc.header.asp file which is called up on every page. The page itself has the meta tag variable, ie. title, description. They work fine on all pages, except the one below i'm having problems with. Ironically it's the most...

Hi,
If I use master pages with META tags in the head section... can I still use
META tag on the child pages (child pages reference the master page). I ask
this question because I heard the more pages with META tags containing
search engine key words, the higher the search engine ranking.
Thanks,
King

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
