I want to say "between you ears," but I suppose that might be
rude.

Seriously, if you want to take a little time, the least expensive
but biggest-bang-for-your-buck method is to work through a GOOD
tutorial and learn to hand-code. A good (not perfect, but quite
good) starting point is http://www.htmldog.com .

Even if you decide on using some sort of WYSIWYG authoring tool,
learn the code along the way. Otherwise you're stuck with what
the machine spits out, which might not always be the best way to
do it.

Arachnophilia is a good choice. I prefer v4 over the newer javascript
version, but to each his/her own. Check out http://www.arachnoid.com

Finally an html tutorial which teaches to use html for structure and css
for layout! I haven't extensively searched for them before, but I have
never found one either. If I ever need to recommend a tutorial to
someone, it's going to be this one. Thanks!

I'm thinking of implementing a real-time collaborative text editor in Python using Twisted. An initial plan is to use a Twisted PB server daemon that accepts user:password:file connections from text editor clients to make changes to a specified file on the server, and have the text editor clients update their local copies of the file based on local user input or input entered from other users, relayed via the server. Jabber compatibility...

I hope someone can help me, because what I'm going through at the moment trying to edit XML documents is enough to make me want to never edit XML again. I'm looking for an XML editor that has a few features that you'd expect in any editor, except nearly none of them seem to have: 1 - Search and repalce with Regular Expressions. 2 - Search and Replace in an Xpath context. 3 - User specified tag-generation for either on a...

I'm new to HTML and want to learn the basics by learning to code by hand (with the assistance of an HTML editor to eliminate repetitive tasks). Can anyone recommend a good, basic HTML editor that's a step beyond Notepad (not a WYSIWYG tool). Thanks.

I have class that also uses a custom editor that, when compiled directly into my project, works just fine in a propertygrid. However, it was necessary to place that class into a DLL, hense the editor was also moved into the DLL and compiled. The issue I have is the the editor is now inactive. Can someone tell me why this may be? Here is the code for the property in my class that uses the editor. This code resides within the DLL. ...

Howdy, I'm using a WYSIWYG editor called TinyMCE. When I edit some text and then save it back to my SQL server using a SQLCommand, all HTML characters are changed to HTML code, i.e. &gt;strong&lt; instead of <strong> and so on. Is this a problem with the editor or something else? Does .Net convert it? I had to disable page validate request because of the tags, is there more? Thanks,

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
