Verity for NC

Hi:

I am hoping someone in this forum can help me - I am trying to find
people for my company who have detailed knowledge of the Verity K2
search software product set, including software installation,
collection configuration and management, Verity search syntax,
spidering, indexing secure content, etc. and I am having a difficult
time locating people with this skill set.

Can anyone refer me to someone looking for employment in the Raleigh,
NC area with these skills?

My contact information is:

Carolyn Russell

cr******@analys ts.com

Thanks in advance for your help!!

She made up her requirements after having compared how search works at different websites, like eBay, Yahoo and others. I am attempting to convince a group of developers to move from Cold Fusion to the .NET framework. Has anyone else made this migration, and how would you make this case to a team of CF developers? Specifically, they are attached to the integration of the Verity search engine in CF. Is there something similar in .NET, or can Verity be...

What options are available for doing full-text searches of database data without using a database-specific full-text engine? The only option I've found is Google's Search Appliance but it's an expensive hardware solution and we prefer a software solution. In the past I've used development languages that had OEM Verity support which was...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. ...
