I'm using eight links listed horizontally as a menu on my site. I'm
using font-variant:small-caps and they are padded so that they mimic
buttons. My gripe is with the way IE handles the focus rectangle on
these links. It insists on drawing this crazy shape that traces the
text, which with small caps looks rather assinine. Firefox handles the
same task very gracefully (yeah Gecko!) and I would like to force IE to
do the same.
The site...

Hello,
I've just done a redesign of website, and it's gone terribly wrong for
Internet Explorer 6. I have a two column layout, and for some reason
links in the right hand column cannot be clicked - it's almost as if
the left column is covering the right - an attempt to click a link
will select text in the left column.
I've tried setting the right margin (of the left column) to 300px; but
to no avail. I don't want to set the size of...

I'm relatively new to style sheets but I've been unable to find the answer
to a - hopefully - simple question. Is it valid to use more than one <LINK
REL=STYLESHEET..... in a document. Basically I'm working on a web site with
several different sections so I'm hoping to create one external global style
sheet and seperate external style sheets for each section.
It does seem to work, but is it against the rules?
TIA

I have one tab control with 5 tab pages.
I want to color each tab page a different color.
Does anyone know how to color the entire tab page a unique color?
(that includes the tab part of the tab page)
In other words, just like different paper folders come in different colors,
how do you program this?
If you look at the code I got from Microsoft, this will color only one tab
and put text on only one tab:
HOw does one do it when you have...

Hi
I am trying to get a site working with some 1&1 web space. I have the MS
Business Pro account which has ASP.NET Support and SQL Server.
I am trying to get an online gallery to work but I can not get the
default.aspx page to load. I can not even get a really simple aspx page to
load.
Default page: http://www.gallerox.com/default.aspx
When I try to load the page I get the following warning:

I'm using a single Master page.
I'm having some strange results using Redirects in master pages using
relative pathing i.e ~. I'm using Form authentication and whenever I
navigate to my Login form (under a different dir called Secure) and then
navigate back to my main form under root dir and then try to navigate to
another form at the root dir level, it will look for the aspx page under the
"Secure" dir rather than my root dir??

The output of a DataGrid is nothing but a HTML table. To color or
change the width of the outer 4 borders of a DataGrid, one can use the
properties "BorderColor" & "BorderWidth" respectively but how does one
change the border color & width of the 4 borders surrounding each cell?
There are 4 other properties apparently meant for changing the border
color & width of the 4 borders surrounding each cell i.e.
HeaderStyle-BorderColor &...

Hello,
I have a website with various font options (small to large) buttons
that the user can click on the banner, which runs through the site.
Site contains both static and dynamic content. I have an onclick()
event on the buttons. But, I am not sure where to put the javascript
function that will change the stylesheet accordingly and how to write
this piece of code. Any help is appreciated.
Thanks,

This is, I'm sure, and easy question for most. I am a moderate C/C++ programmer in console based programs, I am looking to teach myself windows based programming though. I'm going through a book I bought and trying all of the exercises it gives to help me brush up on things.
One things I'm curious about, but can't find in the book, is how to change text color and style. I've got a character pointer with the text "Hello World" stored in it,...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

In this session, we are pleased to welcome a new presenter, Adolph Dupré who will be discussing some powerful techniques for using class modules.

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
