CSS not rendering properly after upload

2 New Member
www.sakuranyack .com

My CSS is only partially rendering after being uploaded online. It works fine locally. The CSS link is fine since the layout is preserved, but rather just my font and background image specifications are not functioning.

see attached "bad" and "good" images.

I am not a pro, and just made this website for my family's sushi restaurant. Anyone have any idea? My hosting company says there is nothing wrong on their end.

the html files are at:

I suppose it's some kind of Linux server. well, on Linux, file names are case-sensitive (e.g. Top.gif != top.gif)

IE 6 Firefox looks just fine. I have run my html and css through the W3C validator. The html is fine and the css gets the following: "Line : 3 (Level : 1) You have no color with your background-color : body Line : 23 (Level : 1) You have no background-color with your color : div#content h1 Line : 25 (Level : 1) Family names containing whitespace should be quoted. If quoting is omitted, any whitespace characters before and after the...

I have an application that uses the Microsoft.Web.UI.WebControls.TabStrip and Multipage controls. When I test the app on my pc or on my client's development web servers the controls render properly. When I deploy the app to the test environment - supposedly an exact duplicate of the development environment - the TabStrip and Multipage controls do not render - the text of the tabs are displayed in a line, but no tabs. This is the same...

Since the idea of encoding mathematics using MathML is being very far from popular due to a number of factors -expensive tools, bad accesibility of generated code, unusual verbosity, lack of adequate support, special fonts, namespaces, special plugins, backward incompatiblity of MathML with other internet technologies, duplication of code, and others-, alternative encodings are spreading over the internet. Probably the most popular one...

Note: You may skip to the end of the article if all you want is the perl code. Introduction Uploading files from a local computer to a remote web server has many useful purposes, the most obvious of which is the sharing of files. For example, you upload images to a server to share them with other people over the Internet. Perl comes ready equipped for uploading files via the CGI.pm module, which has long been a core module and allows users...

I have a custom control that I did not create. It is made up of many classes and is rendered dynamically. Perhaps none of that really matters. The control renders properly on the first load when the Page_Init, Page_Load, etc. methods are called. However, when these events are not called then the control does not render properly. How can I debug this? The ASPX page itself has: <%@ Page Language="vb" AutoEventWireup="false"...

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it. First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends, With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
