The following page simulates a pool cue and cue ball:
http://members.aol.com/myscript/cue.html
Mouse cursor position around the cue ball determines where a roll-over
of 179 pool cue images is placed around the ball and which one of those
images is displayed. Each pool cue image is in a slightly different
orientation and the correct one is chosen to match the orientation of
the cursor around the ball. Holding down the left mouse button...

Hi,
I have the CSS class below, and the image (pro.gif) is not showing on
my page.
It is showing ONLY where's some text in the div, but all I need is the
image itself.
..pro {background-image: url(/Backpage/Images/pro.gif); display: inline;
}
Am I doing something wrong?

Hi everyone,
I would like to add hyperlinks to the text appearing or another when
working with the onClick event. Unfortunately this version is pulling
the text from the (title) attribute withing the <atag. Is there a
way to display linkable text in addition to the text and image that are
showing.
Does anyone know how to make this work with the script or another
method of tagging? Please help!

I'm missing something regarding positioning background images. It's probably
obvious, and I hope someone here will note it for me. I'm trying to do
something like the complex spiral thing, only much simpler. According to the
O'Reilly CSS definitive guide book, it should work, but it isn't. On
http://www.xmission.com/~wake/backgroundtest.html I have a background image
showing through, but not showing up in the header areas. It is my...

I am trying to hide an image in a formview if the imageurl is blank.
Site is driven by database - and if there is nothing in the database as a picture filename then I want to hide the image - If there is a filename in the database I want to show the image.
Showing is not a problem - but I dont want to show an empty placeholder box on the website if there is no file to display.
Tried various methods to no avail.
C# would be ideal as...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
