Hello,

I need to shape a div tag in the shape like in this image:

because I want to have a hover event when div with this shape changes color. I know how to make this shape from 2 divs, but then hover event would only work on one of them and I need whole div to change color.

Thnx ))))

div elements are square and there is no way around that, except for rounded corners. I just made a funny. :)

I once read an article where someone accomplished this with some trickery; probably overlapping elements. Just a week ago, Adobe had their CSS Regions introduced that CAN do that and much more but it only works in Webkit and it's very much in the draft stage.

Hello. I have an ASP.NET application where I allow the user to upload attachments. I upload the attachments as binary data to an image column in sql server. I have managed to upload the data correctly. However, I need to be able to set binary field back to NULL if the user wants to delete an attachmnet. What is the proper way to do this? Thanks in advance. I currently receive the following error.

What I want my code to do is only pull the attachment; as you see below I basically output everything. Is there an easy way to just pull attachments? (NOTE, the only attachements that I want to pull are images) =========================================================== I also tried this, but for some reason the...

There's probably a standard answer for this, but it's never cropped up for me before. I have a (png) image that includes some text (a labelled group photo of a conference), and it'd be useful if a search engine can find those embedded names too -- without redundantly placing them in visible HTML text. What's a good way to do this? Some of the text can go in the 'alt' tag of the image, which I suppose is checked by a search, but that...

Hi again! This forum has been FABULOUS so far, so I thought I'd throw up my latest stumper. I know that this issue has been discussed out the wazoo but I can't find anything quite like my issue. I have a form that is based on a table, "T: Financials - Data Entry". It allows me to enter in cheque information for depositing. I need to track the cheques by category and subcategory. So, the Category field on this form looks up the category...

I understand that the attachment field is very different to other field types. However, is there a way to tell if the field has an attachment or not ? Something like Me.EmployeePicture.Item > 1 or something like that. Is this possible?

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it. First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends, With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
