Hi All,
I have been using the SAX library in PHP to parse XHTML documents, and one
thing I have noted is that the <!DOCTYPE> line is ignored.
I am wondering is there any way to get the <!DOCTYPE> using the SAX
functions in PHP? I am looking over the manual, but nothing is jumping out
at me...

Hello list!
I've got a unicode string which holds an xhtml website, begining with
<!DOCTYPE ... and a functions which alters strings in a certain way.
I want to replace all actual data in this xhtml unicode string with the
function's output. (By 'actual data' I mean anything that
I thought I should use the XMLGenerator package, but first, I don't
like it's output, and second, it complaints about the <!DOCTYPE ...>

This is the issue I have been trying to resolve since today morning :
I have an XHTML document in string form which I parse using Xerces
DOMParser (using an InputSource to read it).
Now I am trying to get to a node for which I have the Xpath, using the
XPathAPI.

Normally an SVG document is loaded/parsed/interpreted inside an HTML
document using an 'object' (or 'embed') element, although there are
supposedly other ways too. The problem is, the SVG document must be
static this way.
I want to use the DOM interface to build SVG dynamically inside an HTML
document. I am guessing I can build it inside HTML within an 'object' (or
maybe 'iframe'?) element.
My intentions/goals:

Isnt is so that whenever the compiler reads an #def it will replace it
with letter by letter on the place is see the macro, so what is the
purpose of keeping #defs inside a structure,
struct A{
#define A_list(e) (e)->list()
}

Is there a way you can test what page is loaded from inside a master page?
What I need to do is test to see what page is loaded inside the master page
and then gray out the root item linked to that page in the Menu control.
I.e. I have a root item called home. When a person is on the home page I
want it to be disabled. Any way to do this?

Folk,
At http://carnot.yi.org/Category2.xhtml is a document
containing a diagram in SVG. I've tried to make it conform
to http://www.w3.org/TR/XHTMLplusMathMLplusSVG/ .
Absence of MathML code should do no harm.
Debian Iceweasel displays the xhtml text and table
but not the diagram. http://validator.w3.org/ complains
about <svg:defs>. See

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
