Hello @ all,
we have written a small program (code below) for our own
in-developement rpg system, which is getting values for 4
RPG-Characters and doing some calculations with it.
now we're trying hard to find out how to get it working with 'n'
Characters, so you will be asked to enter a number at the beginning,
asking you how many characters you want.

I just noticed that recently the javascript I was using to format and
display the last modified date of my web page is always reporting the
current date instead. It used to work fine. This is true both on the
university web server on which the page is hosted and the local mirror I
keep on my desktop (SuSE 8.2 Linux). It is a new university, but my
desktop filesystem is the same as before. I can see with "ls -l" that the
modified date of...

Hi,
I would like to have a date_last_modified field for one of my SQL
tables. Instead of coding my front end to keep up with this field is
there a way to user a formula for this column in Enterprise Manager so
that each time a record is created or updated the current date/time
will be inserted/updated? I tried using getdate() but then the field
always has the current time, which is not what I am looking for. I am
looking for the time...

Hello there,
In my asp.net page using VB, I have a date text field in mm/dd/yyyy
format. When a date is entered, I'd like to validate it to make sure
the date is greater than or equal to the current date. If not, I'd
like to display the error message to ValidationSummary.
It seems to make sense to me to use CompareValidator but the problem
is put the current date into CompareValidator. So, I created a hidden
text field in my aspx. ...

Hi,
I am basically a linux person being made to work on windows. and i have
been given a limited version of the windows i guess - for it doesn't
provide a proper help option :(. I sorely miss working on linux. but
now, I need to get the current date and if possible the current time as
well, from the system. I tried a lot of the inbuilt functions (like
localtime()) but it gave me errors that i couldn't rightly comprehend.

I'm a divorced dad that travels constantly with my job and I wanted a way to let my daughter know where I am. I built a simple little website but it needs a little bit of complexity in order to work. I want to create a database in the form of a calender. I want to be able to set a city, state, and 2 images for a date and have the index page recall the current city, state based on the current date. A non-working example of what I'm trying to...

With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
