I recently installed Access 2003 and immediately noticed problems with
applications that work fine in 2000 and XP. I use conditional
formatting on continuous forms for a number of reasons. When these
forms are opened in 2003, Access seems to go into a continuous loop.
Has anyone else experienced this problem? Does anyone know of a
solution short of not using conditional formatting in continuous
forms?
Here is an example:

Can you write conditional VBA code that affects only one or two
records on a continuous subform?
I have a form with a subform on it. The parent/ child field that links
the forms is CaseID. The main form has personal info on it. The
subform deals with each case's Issues, Decisions, and Notices.
Issues, Decisions, and Notices are all combo boxes. Not all Issues
have Notices. Issues 25-50 have Notices. Issues 1-24 and 51-100 don't
have...

I have a database I created on a network share when I print a report from my
computer the printed copy contains the colors specified in conditional
formatting but if I go to another computer on the network the report prints
greyscale.
If I change conditional formatting to bold and italic it will work fine but
not colors.
This is a mix of win2k and XP machines and a mix of access 2000 and 2002

I have a form where the conditional formatting is set on some fields
to bold if certain conditions are met. However, when the conditions
are met some of the data that is to bold is either not showing or only
part of the data in the field displays (i.e. it will display the last
name but not the first name or it will display neither).
When the conditional formatting is removed it displays all the data as
it should be display so the data...

Does anyone know a way you can use conditional formatting to create a banded
style view as is commonly seen on the internet. (In othe words the first
record appears on a gray background, the 2nd on white, the third on gray etc
etc.) I could write an expression based on the odd/even status of the
primary key but this wont work when sorting and filtering is applied.
Any suggestions gratefully received.

Hello,
I have a page with an ImageButton that is used to redirect to another page.
When the page first opens, everything looks as expected. However, when I
click on the image, the new page opens as expected. However, when I go back
to the original page, all the font sizes are larger. Its as if by clicking
on the ImageButton, my CSS formatting was discarded.
When I look at the source for the following code, this is what I get:

I am working within a DB I have been devolping in Access 2003, and have encountered a report coding issue I was hoping someone could help me with:
I have 18 reports, each running off some smaller queried version of 2 main queries (apx. 6000 records each). The purposes of the DB and the reports require the formatting of these reports to change monthly as Actual Revenue is reported.
I can accomplish all of these monthly formatting changes...

Hello. My goal is to pain the entire row fore color as Red. If the value of
column 24 is true (boolean), I wish to paint the row as Red. Otherwise,
leave row as default (no formatting). The Datagridview datasource is a
datatable. Currently my issue is that all records are painted red on the
Cell_Formatting event. But not all records meet the filter condition. Any
ideas why? Here is code snippet

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
