Hi,
I’ve read Jukka’s page about iframes and generally noted the advice not
to use it, so I am looking for a proper way to handle this:
http://www.weltladen-tuebingen.de/index_kontakt.html
you know, the Google insertion.
I’ve already cleaned up the page to not use frames anymore, using SSI,
but that is not suitable for the iframe. It is still bothering me, once
that is properly done, I can replace the current website with a proper
HTML strict version.
Thanks for suggestions, H.
Hi,
I noticed that you use a src atrribute for the div.
AFAIK: That is illegal.
<div id="Layer13"><i frame width="425" height="500" frameborder="0"
scrolling="no" marginheight="0 " marginwidth="0"
src="http://maps.google.de/maps?q=Lange+Ga sse+64+T%C3%BCb ingen&ie=UT F8&s=AARTsJ qeAh_DIeSOTEyQP h1QRixsBIAIZA&a mp;ll=48.523085 ,9.055781&s pn=0.007106,0.0 0912&z=16&a mp;iwloc=addr&a mp;output=embed "></iframe>
</div>
Maybe you can throw in an OBJECT tag? http://www.w3.org/TR/REC-html40/struct/objects.html

Hi there,
I have an iframe which is editable (designMode = "on") and want to
resize it dynamically as the content grows (e.g. more lines of text is
in there) and there the struggle starts.
I fill the iframe with content (<body> tag and so on and also insert a
<div> tag, inbetween is the content that should be modified).
Now if the event "overflow" or "underflow" is triggered the iframe

Is there any way I can check to see if a document is loaded into the
iframe before I call onLoad (sort of an afterLoad).
I'm loading up a page into an iframe. But because we use four servers
which use load balancing, the content isn't specified straight away.
Therefore as I'm using onload to resize the iframes scroll bars to the
size of the iframe content, I need to wait for this to be loaded
first. Is there an alternative to onLoad that...

i'm using the following construct to access form fields within an
iframe:
var x = document.getElementById('prefs_iframe').contentWindow.document.forms;
works great in IE and Mozilla/Firefox. doesn't work in Safari. my
DHTML reference book says that contentWindow is only supported in
NN7/IE5.5(Win). what's the DOM-friendly approach to accessing form
fields within an iframe?

My webserver hosts some on-line reports with live data. I have put an html
meta tag to force the client to refresh every 10 minutes so my clients will

However, once or twice every day my IP address changes or my WAN link may be
inaccessible for a couple of minutes. If the client refresh occurs during

I'm sure this is probably the wrong place to ask, but is there a way to
execute an SSI script in javascript?
I'm using an SSI script to read a memory address, and I'd like to be
able to update the value every few seconds without having to refresh the
entire page. Does anyone know a possible way to do this, or am I stuck
with refreshing the entire page every 4 seconds?
If I'm in the wrong group, does anyone know the proper place to...

I currently have a page that has many dropdowns where each one is
dependent on the previous one's selection. Right now I am using
postbacks on each drop down list to fill the next. An example of what
I am doing would be like having dropdown1 have a list of states. When
the user selects the state it does a postback and fills dropdown2 with
the major cities in that state. This obviously is not a nice
interface. I know Atlas (MS Ajax...

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it.
First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
