content pushed down in wordpress theme

I've been fooling around with a wordpress theme called Enlighten on
http://www.topwpthemes.com/ (scroll down to find it).

It works fine in FF, Opera but not in IE6. In IE6, the sidebar gets
pushed below the posts/content.

Since some of you CSS geniuses can often spot bugs in the blink of an
eye, I thought I'd throw it out there and see if someone can spot the
issue. I've been fiddling with it for a couple hours to no avail.

Thanks,
Jared

I have a div floated left for a navbar, with another div in the normal flow for content, like so: #leftnav { float: left; width: 120px; } #content { margin-left: 170px; margin-right: 10px;} What I'd like is for my left nav to always stay in a fixed size and position, and my content to size dynamically to fit the window. This mostly works for that, except that if the content contains a table wider than the content div, the table gets...

Hello, I am trying to find a way to tell if an .NET windows forms Button (System.Windows.Forms.Button) is "depressed" (pushed down). For my application, I can not use a check box control set to button style, I must use a System.Windows.Forms.Button. I can not find a way to tell when it is momentaraly pressed. I tried calling the API SendMessage with the button handle and BM_GETSTATE to get the state of the button. This will only return...

Hello, note: This is for a Faculty web site that is undergoing a migration to an open source solution so my motives are legit. I need to build a relay from IIS handling URL_A to a PHP server (URL_B), get the content from the PHP server (if it exists) and then serve it out via IIS. If the content does not exist then I need to pass the request through to the IIS server and serve the pages from there. All of this needs to be done...

The menu drop down icons (only the gray inactive icons) look horrible in Windows Classic Theme. Once they are active and have color, they look fine. If we switch to XP theme, they look just fine. Anyone else run into this problem with python rewriting "shotty" inactive icons in the Windows Classic Theme? ANY help appreciated. Best,

Hi All, I am very new to vb.net. I have just started migrating from VB6 to VB.net. However I have a very basic query. I wanted to know if there is any way I can style my drop downs. I mean not only the colors, or fonts, the styles as well. How does the drop down arrow looks like. Does it have to be rectangle only. I want them rounded. And lots of other things. I am using xp and users of the application will also be using

Hello, I would like to create my own theme(s) for a couple of my own blog sites. I am hoping a few better themes could bring lot more readers. So far, I have stayed with the default wordpress theme (blue title). There are a lot of web sites I have seen that have very attractive themes. I am not a programmer and do not like to edit the php files or css files etc. My preference is to visually create the theme (font,images,background...

I have two DIVs on the same line, a left navigation frame and the right content. I want both of those items on the same line. Lets say the left nav content is 140pixels and the right content is 1400 pixels. In internet explorer, if I put these together the right content is pushed below the left nav on a separate row. I want them on the same line. I guess I could use a table and that would fix it, but I don't have access to change the...

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it. First, let's disable language synchronization. Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends, With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
