Need your thoughts and ideas on a new menu

Hello,

I'm looking for your thoughts, ideas, and suggestions on this situation. I have recently been given the task to "fix" a menu within the companies intranet site.

The current menu operates such that when you place your mouse over a category in the menu, a sub menu will then appear. Some sub menu's go into a third submenu. Management would like to keep the menu operating in the same way, but there is no room for expansion and right now they are adding things in the incorrect places. My task is to "re-do" the menu and add room for expansion, changing the menu to make it function better is ok, but i just need to keep the current idea of having the submenus drop down whenever you scroll your mouse over them.

I can provide more detail if needed, otherwise i am looking forward to hearing what thoughts and ideas your have!

Thank you and have a Happy Thanksgiving!!! !!!!

Can you give us an example code, so we may be able to see just how large your menu is.

Thanks, Death

Howdy, I'm trying to create a selection helper, just like in Google or other places where a drop-down menu appears below the text selection box when you enter some text. As you type, the choices are narrowed based on the characters entered. I have everything worked out but the actual menu which is giving me problems. My first attempt was using a Pmw.ScrolledListBox and taking advantage of the inherent drop-down menu. I was attempting...

In a page I have when the user left-clicks the page a Input box for a form gets the focus. But if the user right-clicks the page the Input box is not getting the focus. I'd like the Input box to get the focus no matter where on the page the user clicks be it right-click or left-click. Right now there is no context menu when the user right-clicks. Do you think that's the problem? Any ideas how to get this right-click left-click Input box...

I am (and have been trying!) to find a good way to do the following few things: 1. When a user requests a .aspx/.htm/.html file, the file needs to be automatically integrated into a page template. In ASP.NET, how can I do this? 2. I know I can put custom controls, map .htm/.html files to utilize custom controls, etc, but I don't want to go through and update 2000 pages (and growing) to .aspx files and then add the controls.

Hi, I'm a SQL Server DBA, but I guess that won't buy me any friends round here huh? ;-) I've been asked to look at the SQL that's being executed on a DB2 database from a web app, specifically when the web site does XYZ, what SQL does it run on the DB2 database? Unfortunately everyone who knew about how it works has left and I've never even seen a DB2 database before today! So, I appear to be looking at an IBM DB2 Universal Database...

hi, i am a beginner when it comes to javascript, i would like to have a menu (see examples 1 and 2 below), that folds out to reveal sub links, pushing the other menu items down – and then springs back in place if you either 1.click on the main link again (STAFF in example 1)or 2. if you click on a different main link(STAFF, CAREERS or INTERNSHIP) (i think you know what i am talking about – just a boring moving menu) example 1

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends, With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies.
