Hi,
I would like to ask for your help.
I am using IE5.5.
I have a wide page with horizontal scroll bar.
The problem is that I get only 1 page when printing it using
"file->print" or "window.print".

Hi all,
I'm looking for a way to actually show a selected row *in* the viewable
area on the screen.
Situation:
1. Large table with autoComplete search fuctionality
2. On clickin a button (or whatever) the correct row is located and
highlighted accordingly. (all fine so far)
3. In a large table the actual entry is not displyed in the viewable area.

Hi,I was wondering if it is possible to change the way a datagrid
scrolls. I would really like to be able to do the following:
1) remove the vertical scrollbar / prevent one from appearing.
2) be able to click and hold the mouse over the cell area and drag the
viewable area vertically up or down (similar to the way one can
navigate through an adobe document). Would this involve creating a
custom class that inherits datagrid to get...

SELECT drop-list width incorrect for long text when SELECT is fixed width
Setting the width style of a SELECT statement causes the contents of the
drop-list to be cropped.
This is problematic when attempting to limit the width of the select box for
layout purposes (say, a fixed-dimensions application UI) whilst still
presenting the user with all of the required information to make a choice.
Any clue to solve the above issue is highly...

I have an application that runs on ASP.NET. We have been working through
performance testing and it appears that at about 40-50 users, I start to get
CPU bound.
The application is a three form, ASP.NET 2.0 application. A login page, and
a main page, that is a frame with a header page, and the main page. On the
main page, there are two datagrids that pull data from a database. The
problem is that on one of the grids, the amount of rows...

I'm trying to create a page: Three sections (left, topright and
bottomright), each with a heading and scrolling (overflow) content.
The size of these sections should be based upon the size of the user's
viewable area in their browser. I'm close... really close, but I'm
confused over how to mix specific measurements with percentages.
When I began, things were quite nice:

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it.
First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
