Can I do a redirect to a predefined form that would be submitted simantaneously upon

2 New Member
I am helping a polish up a client's PPC campaign and when of the problems I have run into is that the real estate backend system he is using, does not allow the ability to link directly to a predefined search. Say for a city. You have to use a form to get anything out of the system in return. You can link directly to a listing but not a search.

Here is an example of one website that actually used a sliced up image map that does the search.
http://www.greathomes2 47.com/golden.htm
"Search homes by price range" in the middle of the page. If you look at the source you can see how he is having to pull it.

What I would like to do is create a landing page for particular adword ad groups (cities) that would automatically redirect to a particular search. I.E. User sees ad on google, clicks on it and then goes lands on the custom landing page for that city, that then automatically redirects to the predefined search that has been set up using the form.

Still following me?

This way the user does not have to make an extra click, is delivered directly to the content they are seeking, thus making my life easier and my client happy. :)

Seriously, this would help him out some and I would like to try to do it for him.

Here is an example of a custom made .asp script made to do the same thing but I would be happy with a simple redirect that would do the trick for now.

http://www.seerealesta tenow.com/Search.aspx?cit y1=Parker

He is also changing systems in the future so something short and sweet would be okay.

Can I do a redirect to a predefined form that would be submitted simantaneously upon landing on the page? I.E. automatically redirect to this:
Expand|Select|Wrap|Line Numbers
  1.           <form name="form1" method="post" action="http://denver.mbb1.com/display.php?companyid=190334&headercontent=yes" target="new">
  2.             <input type="hidden" name="buildquery" value="yes">
  3.             <input type="hidden" name="action" value="search">
  4.             <input type="hidden" name="sort" value="PRICE">
  5.
  6.             <input type=hidden name="city[]" value="Golden">
  7.             <input type=hidden name="house_type" value="res">
  8.             <input type=hidden name=price_from value="1">
  9.             <input type=hidden name=price_to value="100">
  10.
Thanks a bunch, possibly paid work in the future for those interested.

I have an ASP script that is called from a PDF form to process form data. On the last line of the script I have a Response.Redirect "webpage.asp" that leads to another target page with actual HTML. However when I start this process (by submitting form data) even when I comment out the processing code, the address bar shows the desired page, but the page never appears and the flag keeps spinning indefinitely (and doesn't stop even after 15...

I used a Response.Redirect "page.asp" as the last command in ASP code that processes a submitted form from an Adobe PDF form (using HTML format). For some reason, if there is any linked file (image, stylesheet, javascript) in the target "page.asp" IE hangs until you press Escape. With Refresh, the page loads completely. I checked the web log and the entry for "page.asp" is 200 (OK) but all the files I mentioned above all show 400. The...

I have form/select which executes a function using onchange. No problem. However, when I validate the page with a strict HTML 4.01 doctype at http://validator.w3.org, it demands either an action or a method for the form?. If I give it an empty action <form action="" ..... it validates OK. Is this acceptable or is there a better/standards correct way? Thanks.

I need to redirect to a page and HTTP Post data. The Response.Redirect does not work and the HTTPREQUEST option calls the page and waits for a response, but I need to transfer control to the page. Eg. Redirect and POST data. The only way I can see to do this is to format a HTML/POST, with Javascript, page and use the RESPONSE.WRITE option. Thanks

I am trying to get a form to work with validating a checkbox. It validates the checkbox ok, but it always redirects, even if the box isn't checked...it does alert, but I was hoping that it would stay on the current page and not redirect unless the box IS checked. I really can't see what I did wrong. Any and all help would be appreciated. My code so far is: <HTML> <HEAD>

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it. First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends, With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
