Just finished a beautiful website, but when I open FireFox it comes up retarded! Why?

1 New Member
Hello Everyone,

I just finished creating a nice website for my search engine optimzation company using Macromedia Dreamweaver MX. I bought a web template from Template Monster.com and edited everything in Dreamweaver.

Everything looks perfect in IE6 or 7, but when I open Mozilla Firefox, my footer bar is stuck in middle of the page, and alot text on some pages are overlapping each other.

I have never seen or heard of anything like this!! I am really frustrated, I have tried everything, reading for so long other threads, but I can't figure this out!

Please help, I will pay someone in PayPal if necessary if they can help figure this out for me!

I have such a nice site, and its such a shame on all the time I spent creating it that it cannot be viewd in Firefox, the browser choice of alot of people.

The link of the website is http://www.gtawebstudi os.com/mangosm/

If you need the original files, I have no problem emailing them to you.

My personal email address is avioziel@msn.co m.

Thank you all kindly for reading this and your help if you can...

I don't see the problem. Never initially test in IE. It is old, buggy and non-standard. So your problem may have arisen from designing using IE instead of a modern browser.

It seems that Microsoft not only does not need the classic Visual Basic developer army (the largest army of developers the world has ever seen), but now they don't need ANY Windows developer at a small or mid-sized business. http://groups-beta.google.com/group/microsoft.public.msdn.general/browse_thread/thread/9d7e8f9a00c1c7da/459ca99eb0e7c328?q=%22Proposed+MSDN+subscription+changes%22&rnum=1#459ca99eb0e7c328 Damn! InfoTipsControl is a Google Suggest inspired WebControl, meaning it will do server-side lookups to populate a text box with "intellisense"... A sample application can be found here: http://www.frostinnovation.com/InfoTipsSample1/ (Type e.g. "a" in any of the TextBoxes) This actually goes server-side for every change inside the textbox with the contents of the textbox and creates a DIV run time which will be displayed and have support...

I'd like to get some good advice about our old ASP site. You can see our home page at: http://www.douglas-county.com/ ....and an example application page at: http://www.douglas-county.com/employment/currentopenings2.asp Our old site uses classic ASP with JavaScript syntax. I'm in the process of developing a new site that uses XML/XSLT/CSS/ASP.NET/VB.NET, but in the meantime, we still have our old site up. It contains a lot of...

I haven't used an IDE in a long time but gave wing ide a try because I wanted the same development platform on Linux and Windows. I'm currently using Ultraedit and it works fine but needed something more portable as I'm moving my main platform over to Ubuntu. I first tried jedit and was reasonably happy with it but it felt slow and it did not have a native look and feel to it. It was really hard on the eyes. I was impressed! The UI...

Hello The window.open method brings my window to the top only if it is new. If it's being reused, the window does not come to the foreground (with IE 6 it does). Is there a new way in Mozilla/Firefox that I can ensure that this window comes to the top? Thank you for your help

Hi, Martin, SE is a stream editor that does not introduce the overhead and complications of overkill parsing. See if it suits your needs: http://cheeseshop.python.org/pypi/SE/2.2%20beta <EAT # delete all unmatched input "~(?i)<a.*?href.*?>~==\n" # keep hrefs and add a new line

I have been working with PHP for more than 3yrs (I believe still I am beginner in this category) - I was present in several interview board. Which things disappointed me most is the "lack of eagerness" to learn what comes new. Sometime developers thinks that learning Only PHP will help them to get lucrative jobs!! OMG Especially most of the time PHP developers plays multiple roles in the companies, they are developer, they are template...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
