How can we make a webpage without extension....?

Hi..
I need one clarification.
How can we make a webpage without extension....?

Ex:
Normal page is http://www.websitename .com/partners/info.html

I dont wnt html/php/any extension. like
http://www.websitename .com/partners/info

is it possible???

This has to be set up on the server side. If your server "serves" the page as text/html, which it probably does, then the browser will not care about the extension. Also, when someone clicks on a link that doesn't have an extension, your server must recognize what to do with that. I don't use Apache but, in my server, one simple line makes everything without an extension go to a script.

To see how to do this in your server, if it is Apache, go to the Apache board and ask there.

Just curious why you would want to do this?

It adds a little bit of security by hiding how the pages are created. so if it ends in .php, that helps a cracker know the page was generated in php.

hmm it looks like on an apache server this would cause extra processing power..
