Before i post actual code, as i need a speedyish reply.
Can i first ask if anyone knows off the top of their head, if there is
a likely obvious cause to the following problem.
For the moment i've reduced my form request to a simple text string
entry, instead of my desired optional parameters. As i have been stuck
with a single unfathomable glitch for over a year.
Basically, if i enter queries such as ;

Hello all,
I want to use the POST method to submit the form and then grab the
parameters in the asp file with request.form("parm").
The problem is that I am using the _search target to open the asp
page.
When I use _blank target there is no problem, either I use GET or POST
method.
But when I use _search target, only GET method works.

I have a current web application that utilizes a login to authenticate
users
into the application. Once I authenticate them, I store away the user's
name in a Session variable. I then utilize this check to confirm the
session has not timed out (isLogon.asp - which I include on every page).

I'm using ASP.NET with C# as my code behind and I figure out how to get the
above process to work. I've found many examples online for using the
'method' member to "POST", but none for setting it to and using "GET". Any
help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I have been working on a little project in C# to log into a website (using
code inspired/riipped from
http://www.codeproject.com/cs/internet/bloglivejournal.asp) but when I
request the response, the packet that is sent out is an HTTP GET (I'm
watching the outgoing packet via Ethereal). The code I'm using is identical
to that above, only configured for the site I'm trying to communicate with.

I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
