Does the file extension matter when including a JavaScript file in an HTML
page?
Normally, one would include a JavaScript file in an HTML page using
<script src="foo.JS" type="text/javascript">
However, I have found that I can use an alternate file extension, such as
<script src="foo.HTML" type="text/javascript">
It works fine with my IE 6 and Mozilla. Will it work with other browsers?

I have got all my pages to comply with the W3C validator, except this
one line as below.
I need to keep the line (or the functionalilty) but it would be nice
to implement it in a way that gives me a 100% pass with W3C.
Any ideas?
Thanks.

Hi there,
I despearately need to get IIS working with ASP.NET, but I still can't
see any "Web Service Extensions". My previous question regarding this ended
in the decision to uninstall .NET Framework 1.1 then reinstall,
unfortunately this seems to have done nothing.
I've tried calling aspnet_regiis in a number of ways but that seems to
do nothing either, even though it says that uninstallation and installation
completes...

I noticed
that using an HTMLInputRadioButton and specifying a value to be an empty
string (""), this is overridden by ASP.Net which set the value of the
control to be the same as the ID of the control.
See the code below
* Page.aspx:
<%@ Page language="c#" Codebehind="Test.aspx.cs" AutoEventWireup="false"
Inherits="Webspace.Test" %>

I'm having trouble with PHP & PostgreSQL/OpenLDAP/Apache on Windows.
I've set this up countless times on BSD (piece of cake) but I'm trying
to do this on Windows now so that my developer can work on her local
machine.
Everything looks pretty good. OpenLDAP/cygwin works great. PostgreSQL
works great. Apache runs. PHP runs.
But when I try to connect to my PostgreSQL server using PHPPgAdmin, I

FAQ Topic - How do I prompt a "Save As" dialog for an
accepted mime type?
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
It is not possible with client-side JavaScript.
Some browsers accept the Content-Disposition header, but this
must be added by the server. Taking the form:-
` Content-Disposition: attachment; filename=filename.ext `

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it.
First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
