HTML problem. Converting a Webpage into Word- features are lost- Can anyone please help me as I need to reproduce the page more or less as it was.

CM
Hi,
Could anyone please help me?
I am completing my Master's Degree and need to reproduce a Webpage in
Word.
Aspects of the page are lost and some of the text goes.
I would really appreciate it.
The link to the document is

I have spent 15 hours trying to sort this but to no avail.

Is there a visionary out there capable of TWEAKING this issue.

If so, could you kindly post me the instructions or PLEASE have a try
with the document.
I need all the text to be the same and all should show.

My e-mail if you could send the solution is multimediathesi s@gmail. com

Much appreciated,

Ciaran

I hope your Masters paper isn't as vaguely worded as this. From your
question, I don't know what it is you're trying to do. What do you mean
by "reproducin g" a Web page in Word. What "aspects" are lost? How can
anyone help solve a problem that hasn't been described?

When asking for technical help for *anything*, you have to explain what
you're doing in specific terms ("I selected this, and I pressed that,
and then I did such-and-such"), what it is you expected to happen, and
how the outcome differs from that. Otherwise, good luck.

In any event, this is a question about Word and the answer is like to
come from someone who knows how to use Word, not from someone who knows
about authoring HTML.

Hi Harlam and Adrienne,

My apologies for the post and for my lack of clarity.

I need to bring the formatting of that webpage into word.

I need the text and all of the graphics.

Still trying and so annoyed that it is getting the best of me.

Thanks,

CM

As I said in my previous post, just open the web page in your browser,
then Save it WITH images. I would save it in its own directory, and then
open the html page in word. All the formatting, including images will be
there. I just did a test - Opera 7.11 (happened to have it open for
testing - I'm up to 9) and Office Word 2003.

Dude, I don't want to do your homework, but you can use Word 2007 beta.
It's a quasi-XML, and has no problem interpreting your page. Hooking
it up to wherever you store the survey - that's your problem. It'll
cost you $1.50 to download, and no, I don't have it.

Take a screen capture of it, save it as a JPEG, insert into the Word doc.

Hi folks,
Thanks for your replys.
I appreciate all of your help.
I have tried all of your tips and it does not come across without
changes.
I have heard that the new Acrobat Professional can do it but it costs
huge money.
It costs around 800 US dollars.
Has anyone got any other solutions.
Thanks,
Ciaran

How does taking a screen capture change the layout of the page?

Hi all, I was always told that the conversion of Word files to HTML as done by Word itself sucks - you get a lot of unnecessary code that can influence the design on web browsers other than Internet Explorer. Our computer expert in my company had told me already a while ago that I should learn HTML and encode myself. I was never inclined to do so (I am no computer expert), and when upon his suggestion I looked how my pages (converted to...

This way people can see what their HTML looks like. HTML FORM TEXTAREA (Where user...

Hi All, I have created an application in C# that converts HTML file to MS word documents. The HTML file may also have images , for e.g "<img src='http://www.google.com.pk/images/hp0.gif'></img>". The HTML file saved into .doc file. Now the problem is that whenever the .doc file is opened it goes to the link mentioned in the <imgtag. This means that only the link is saved in the .doc file and not the ACTUAL image. Now I want the actual...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...
