I have a login form that uses the post method to carry the
information to the next page. The form works just fine in
ie6.0, but fails in mozilla and fails in ie5.2 on a
mac. "HTTP/1.1 400 Bad Request" was the original error msg
now that I reinstalled iislockdown and urscan I get "The
parameter is incorrect." If I use the get method with this
form it works just fine on everything. I can't say for
certain but I think this problem started...

I have created a side application in VB.NET which reads
rows from a DB and builds an email message.
when i have a long string the the mailmessage.body or the
mailmessage, it puts in an "!<linefeed><space>" at about
every 980th space. I have confirmed that these characters
are not in the string or the message body before the email
is sent. Has anyone seen this or have any thoughts?

I currently have a web form posting back to a SQL table using a Stored
Procedure. Part of this SP is that it pulls data from another table
and inserts a new row into the registration table.
I want to have a trigger on the registration table that will fire when
the row is inserted which will use the sp_send_cdosysmail sproc to send
an e-mail to the user.

With the body tag calling out 'window onload', a function with a
'window.open' fails at the 'window.open' line. If I cut out the body
tag, the function executes as normal.
At first I thought it was the entire function failing, but I tested
with alerts and found that it was only the 'window.open' that fails to
execute.
The function is being called by a link, and I suspected some problem
with the body alink/vlink but after cutting that out...

have my Javascript function execute from the BODY's "onload" method,
but if there is already an onload method defined, I would like mine to
run immediately after it. So in the code below, what JS would i need

Hi all.
I have a Sub that calls another sub. Both subs use a common object, so I
used Public to declare it at the top of the module, as below.
Public Writer As StreamWriter = File.CreateText(Application.StartupPath &
"\Update.txt")
The first time my Sub runs it works fine. But the second time it fails

I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
