video editors/mpg tags

The site I do is getting video content and dinosaur that I am, I am not
prepared. I need to edit the first video and I don't have a video
editor.(I downloaded VideoREDO Plus shareware version but the audio is
screwed up.) I'm looking for recommendations . My first project is
cutting the end of the video off as I didn't figure out how to stop
filming fast enough. :(

I also don't know how to write the html to include the video. I probably
need a refresher course in html as I stopped learning pre css. Would
someone point me in the right direction?

Peace,

Kate

Hi all, I'm having a hard time with the use of my DHTML menu and video on my site. The video is served using Windows Media Player. Short of hiding it, I can't seem to get my DHTML menu to appear above the video. Unfortunately, I have noticed that hiding the video caused the browser to flash several times. Does anyone know of anything I can implement that would minimize the client side impact and also allow my menu to appear on top of...

This is more strictly an HTML problem, but as I'm also using PHP and the HTML groups seem to be infested with spam, I'm posting it here! At the school where I work I've got an online searchable database of video tapes and dvds, using MySql and PHP on a Linux machine. It works fine. I'm trancoding some of the tapes to avi files, which can be accessed as a samba share. I'd like to put clickable links into the database, so if a user sees...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not.
