Clickable time zone map on a web page

Is it possible to create a clickable time zone map on a web page? Is
it as simple as finding an image of world time zones and declaring a
bunch image map coordinates? Has someone already done this?

Do you really want to try?

It also has the potential to be rather inaccessible.

You might be interested in the alternative approach of selecting the
appropriate country, then the town/city/etc.

Or one could do something crazy like allowing users to use either option.
After all, many Usonians wouldn't be able to find their country on the map.

cool site.. it occurs to me I'd like to put up a pg on my site -- more
as an experiment than anything else -- that displays time all four in
different time zones (& others?) at the same time.. I like the map that
shows where it's dark and where the sun is shining..

If a person is learned enough to identify himself a Usonian (Usonian is
actually a style of architecture, not a demonym of a country), he will
recognize where his nation is on the map.

Actually, the word does also mean an American (of the U.S.A.). I did not
invent the word. It is used to get strange looks.

Indeed, guess who did?

I don't know if someone has already done this or not. It's a shame that
there's no service that lets us search for web pages, isn't it? If there
were, we could simply type in a few keywords, press a "search" button,
and find out. Wouldn't that be great? It could search googols of pages
and keep a catalogue. If only someone had thought to start such a service...

Hi, I`m trying to do date calculations in three types of time zones: local, GMT and specified. The issue I am facing is that I need to be able to specify a date in the proper time zone, and I`m having a heck of a time doing so. I have created a form where I use drop downs do specify year, month, date, hour, minute and seconds. When the form is loaded, the dropdowns have to display the proper values for the current time zone type. This

The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...
