Hi,
I'm having a problem with a CSS defined font size on www.casajac.org
I have a few links to different language pages on the top right of the
banner. ("English, Nederlands ...)
I had the link styles defined in the main stylesheet casajac.css but I
couldn't size down the font.
Tried deining the font as 2% to see if that would have any visible effect,
but no...
Can't figure out why.

Might be off topic but I don't know where to post this question.Hope
some body clears my doubt.
The coding standard of the project which I am working on say's not to
use malloc.When I asked my lead(I have just started working) he said we
should not use dynamic allocation in real time systems, the code will
not run in predictable time period.Can anybody tell what does he
mean?Why the execution time becomes unpredictable?
Thanks

The web page at http://www.rossowinspections.com/ has an issue with the
left menu. The left menu has 7 links. One of the links doesn't work.
Using Firefox 1.5 the Fees link isn't a clickable link, if viewed as a
full screen. If you shrink the window down the Fees link then becomes
a link. The link works in IE and Mozilla. I've validated the CSS and
XHTML, the CSS had no errors, the XHTML has no errors other than the
paramaters for the...

Hi. I am trying to implement a menu in CSS but IE is giving me grief
(no surprise there). It works fine in IE7 but 6 is a nightmare.
The page is at http://www.ampersand.net.au/dev/peron/
I need to fix the transparency in the PNG but basically the big
problem is the menu does not appear at all!
I know it's probably something simple but I can't see it, been looking
at all for too long today.

code is
String.prototype.trim = function() {
re = /\s*$/g;
return this.replace(re, "");

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
