class - links/visited question

For our intranet - I've standardized on black for links (from input of
users) - no change for visited, etc...

However, on one page, I've been asked to make the normal blue for
non-visited/purple for visited to be instantiated.

I figured I could easily create a class for this - - - - BUT......(and I
know how to create a class) ----

I'm not sure how to create a class that will include A:LINK and
A:VISITED - - - can someone help and shed some light on this, please?

I use something like this, depending on the background color/picture:

a {text-decoration:none ;}

a.myClass1:link ,a.myClass1:vis ited
{background-color:transpare nt;color:yellow ;}
a.myClass1:hove r {background-color:yellow;co lor:maroon;}
a.myClass2:link ,a.myClass2:vis ited
{background-color:transpare nt;color:maroon ;}
a.myClass2:hove r {background-color:maroon;co lor:yellow;}

a.myClass2:link ,a.myClass2:vis ited

So - then, in my link, if I wanted the myClass2 version - I would just type
in class="myClass2 " - right?

Hey folks, I have a question regarding file handling, and the preservation of class structure. I have a class (and I will post snippets of code later in the post) with both primitive data structures (ints), and more complex data structures (strings and vectors) in it, and would like to write the entire class to a data file that could then be read back and loaded. However I'm having difficulty with this -- I found out (due to an...

I noticed that there are two ways I declare classes: 1. public class xxxx { } 2. Somewierdclass myClass; The 2nd example exists provided I have a 'using' statement at the top that includes that class from some place. I am wondering, why does the 2nd way not require a scope (ie public) ? And why doesn't it require the keyword 'class'. Is it because 'class' denotes an empty.NET class, whereas Somewierdclass is something that...

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it. First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...
