You will need to setup that folder on either a network server using server 2000+ or you can connect to the folder via the computer. For example if you want to share a file on your computer go to run from the other computer and type in \\YOURCOMPUTER.YOURDOMAIN.com\c$\Documents and Settings\My File
If your computer is not on the domain you may have to use remote access.

You can set up a share on your computer (any OS based on NT will do - NT; 2K; XP; Server 2K3; ). Right-click on a folder that the file(s) are within and select Sharing or Properties to set up a share.
From a remote computer, map a drive letter to \\PCNAME\SHARENAME then navigate to the file in the usual way.

Normally it's better to set the permissionning on the files or folders themselves but, it may be easier for a novice to set permissions on the share. Just add the names you want.
