Sage Mas 500 Question

233 New Member
I am being told by developers that it is virtually impossible to work with Sage Products, in this case Mas 500, because the databases are read-only. This does not make much sense to me given I can run DTS's on our Mas 500 databases without a problem. Does anyone have experience with this?

My mission is to get some data out of a sage application, via a very complicated query, into a csv file. My approach, so far, has been 1) link access tables to the sage application 2) build some sub queries 3) build a big query that brings together all the little queries. 4) dump the data generated by the big query into a csv file.

Now I want to access the data in this database but whenever I do (without using the Sage payroll client application) I get a permission problem. I currently have Sage MAS200 SQL (with eBusiness and full support) and looking to launch a consumer ecommerce site. I also have an old website (we took it offline to focus on distribution) written in ASP. The site is from 1998. We now want to launch a new site. I was thinking of running the whole consumer site on PHP/MySQL, but willing to consider ASP.NET. I have the following questions: 1) What is the best way to integrate the MAS200...

Hello, I have recently become interested in using python for scientific computing, and came across both sage and enthought. I am curious if anyone can tell me what the differences are between the two, since there seems to be a lot of overlap (from what I have seen). If my goal is to replace matlab (we do signal processing and stats on physiological data, with a lot of visualization), would sage or enthought get me going quicker? I realize...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
