Not really a Python question, but I thought some on this list may be
able to answer.... so here goes:
I have several machines on which I must install CentOS. There are many
updates to CentOS and it's very time consuming to do the updates over
the network. I have a local copy of all of the updated rpms. Would it be
reasonable to do something like this to upgrade them locally and more
quickly than over the network???

Can someone please help me build php with mysql support on CentOS. Have
installed MySql and that works okay. I have downloaded the latest version of
php and tried to build it but I keep getting errors about missing function
mysql_connect(). This appears to be caused by not having extensions=mysql in
the php.ini file. However when I build php it does not make a mysql.so file,
where does this come from? I have tried using the configure...

2.3.4. Ideally I wanted to use an RPM to update the system python
but a lot of dependencies failed and since I need to run the latest
Python for a particular script, I read on this group somewhere a
suggestion to run both on the same server and use:

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
