XML Parsing - Need some Help??

1 New Member
I have been driving myself crazy the past few days trying to figure this out. I have tried different Parsing Scripts and have read and searched various things trying to find a solution. I am officially lost.

What I want to do is list some of My Xbox Live info on my Website. I found a Website where most of my information is stored as an XML File. This website is found here http://duncanmackenzie.net/services/...Tag=ManHands14

What is the bset way to display some of this information that would be updated when my page is loaded??

For example if I wanted to display <Info>Last seen 15 hours ago playing Xbox 360 Dashboard</Info>

I have come across a Javascript that will load a Local XML File, so if there is a way to save the XML to my server and load it from there I could do that.

I also looked into PHP Parsing but that was way over my head.........I hope someone can help Guide me.

Hi, This is a newbie's question. I want to preload 4 images and only when all 4 images has been loaded into browser's cache, I want to start a slideshow() function. If images are not completed loaded into cache, the slideshow doesn't look very nice. I am not sure how/when to call the slideshow() function to make sure it starts after the preload has been completed.

hello, my goal is to get patterns out of email files - say "message forwarding" patterns (message forwarded from: xx to: yy subject: zz) now lets say there are tons of these patterns (by gmail, outlook, etc) - and i want to create some rules of how to get them out of the mail's html body. so at first i tried using regular expressions: for example - "any pattern that starts with a <p> and contains "from:"..." etc.

I would like to parse a couple of tables within an individual player's SHTML page. For example, I would like to get the "Actual Pitching Statistics" and the "Translated Pitching Statistics" portions of Babe Ruth page (http://www.baseballprospectus.com/dt/ruthba01.shtml) and store that info in a CSV file. Also, I would like to do this for numerous players whose IDs I have stored in a text file (e.g.: cobbty01, ruthba01, speaktr01, etc.)....

Hello, I have a log file that contains many multi-line messages. What is the best approach to take for extracting data out of each message and populating object properties to be stored in an ArrayList? I have tried looping through the logfile using regex, if statements and flags to find the start and end of each message but I do not see a good time in this process to create a new instance of my Message object. While messing around with...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
