How much is this site worth that I made?

Ok, I made this site for this bar that I know and I am disappointed for the fact that the owner already hired someone to create a website for them and note:

I am doing this for them for "Free" to have free meals for a life time.

Not a bad deal, but they are paying for this guy to create the site!
So I want to know how much is mine worth??? With out the spelling errors.

I don't really care about that right now. I am going to get rid of them or change the text area until then.

So how much is my site worth and is it good enough for people to look at?

Heya, Ajm.

For free meals for life, I'd say you each got a good deal.

Plus, you have a good piece to add to your portfolio, and you can advertise 'Google Maps Integration' on your CV. Very nice.

I agree with pbmods. Free meals isn't a bad deal. You can also use the site as a "resumé-booster" for any future (paying) careers in web design. Just chalk it up to experience--so-to-speak.

If you got meals for life you got a great deal. If I was designed the website I would have not charge that much. Normal with my service I add:
Domain name
Host site
and web pages about 5-6
Plus WordPress for addition fee.
plus any DB and PHP, MySQL ie ecom.

I am trying to upload a new version of a file that already exists on my web site. It asks me to overwrite and I choose yes. But when I go to the web page, even a half hour after the upload, the orginal content of the page is still there. I have tried uplaoding several times in IE and FTP voyager. There are no errors reported during the upload. FTP voyer is using binary upload for sure. Also, I deleted the file I am trying to update on...

First of all, this is not a programming question. I'm a user, not programming in JavaScript. I'm not, however, a novice user or even a power user - I certainly know programming intimately as well as computer hardware, configuration, etc... down to the lowest level (e.g. BIOS, assembly language, etc). Anyway, I've obviously got something wrong with JavaScript configuration, files, etc. in Windows 2000, Service Pack 3, because on sites...

http://www.galtsvalley.com Hi all. I've recently made some major stylistic changes to my site and now it is essentially a new design with some new CSS plumbing. I am hoping that a few hardy souls can go check it out and tell me how it renders on their platform/browser combos. I have tested it under W2K, WXP, and System 9 on a Power Mac 8600: W2K: IE5.5 and Opera 7.1 (some small issues in Opera) WXP: IE6 and NS7.1 (in IE6 a strange...

A friend of mine pointed out the other day that certain elements on my web site are too small. But in most of what I publish, fonts are at default size or smaller, and my images are easy to see. I am viewing at 800x600 right now by the way, because that's what I can comfortably see. Times New Roman default pitch is what - 12px? With people increasing their screen resolutions, is it possible for "default size to ever become too small in...

Hello, I was just looking at aspnet_compiler.exe and thinking how useful it was to have your web site compiled, then I thought that maybe it isn't!! What's the advantage? I would never upload a site, nor even upload a new version of one file, without immediately testing it a browser. Thus, any first-time compilation delay will be seen by me. Did I miss something? TIA

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it. First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends, With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
