hi. I want to code a 'preview' function into a guestbook entry page. I can
do it with a button that posts, bringing up a whole new page showing a
preview of what has been entered, and then the user could hit a 'return to
entry form' button or some-such and go back to the form.
But what I want to do instead is just use an HTML link with some javascript
to grab the form's textarea value, and open another browser window that uses
a php file...

i am trying to use regular expressions to search through a text string
and replace a given whole word.
take the string = "The matsat on the mat!" (bad example i know)
i want to replace the whole word 'mat' with the word 'cat' to give
"The matsat on the cat!"
(matsat was not replaced as only whole word match, cat on the other

I am new with C# but have experienced in other similar languages such as Java. What I am trying to do is search a long .l5k file for any time a line begins with "f_". Once I find this line, I want to grab the whole "f_" phrase i.e. "f_someRandomTextFollows". I know how to find the line that begins with "f_".
How do I grab the whole "f_" word by just knowing the index and not knowing the length?

I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
