I installed the MySQL package for mac 10.3
It seem that everything went fine until I try to run mysqld_safe to
start the database
I end up with a message Permission denied, does anybody know how to
fix this.
Below is a copy of the messages I get when I tray to run it.

I work for a small hotel. They don't want to invest in a good front desk
program and the paper system that is being used is not working. It is
complete chaos at the moment. I want to make a database or program that
will be able to manage the guest register and reservations. It doesn't have
to handle payments at this stage. Preventing overbookings is a critical
priority at the moment because it is going into high season here in Florida....

Ok, so I've set up a database over a LAN and got it working. I split
the FE and the BE and I have the client computer accessing the BE on
the host computer. I figured out how to set the refresh rate so that
the FEs update themselves (I set it to 5 seconds for right now). The
databases refresh fine, my problem is, the FE on one computer doesn't
actually save changes to a record it has editted until you quit Access.

Why does the computer refuse to execute my scanf ("%c",&q);
On input 3 4 1 (for a,b and c) I had real roots OK
On input 1 8 16 I had same real roots OK.
However on 4 2 5, (for imaginary roots ) the computer cannot see the scanf ("%c",&q); statement. It just jumps...

I refered the engineer at my hosting service to
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;825738 where he
tried to follow the directions there.
He said there was no such file: Document settings\ServerName\ASPNET\Local
settings\Temp
I said it must be a typo, they meant to say c:\Documents And Settings\Server
Name\ASPNET\Local settings\temp.

i m getting the following errors under the eventlog while i m trying to run
some class that i wrote.
at the first i got an error about the just-in-time : access denied and i
added the permissions as i read in some article but this
didn't help to so i disable the JIT from the IDE properties and then i got
those errors .
