Hi,
I am hoping someone can help with this I am assuming it is pretty
basic but I don't see anything that jumps out at me at how to do this.
Is there a way to have all the items output from the style sheet appear
as a single line with no return chars?? When executing the following
style sheet, how can I concatenate the values together in a single
line, in this case a single line would be how the browser displays
this, but I want the...

I am having a problem with a span. I have items, of which I only want
to show the first X characters on the screen. If the user prints the
page, I want the entire item to print.
Thanks to Els, I have a way to do this, see below, directly from the

I need my textbox to work more smoothly with respect to line breaks.
When I have data pulled from the database into a textbox there are hard
line breaks at the end of each line (by definition how Lines property
works, right?). But, the textbox is used for editing data previously
entered into the database. Ideally, what I want is just a hard break
at the end of each paragraph so users can smoothly enter or remove data
anywhere without...

hi,
my app has two parallel rich text boxes containing the same content in 2
different languages. the lines parallel each other, line #3 in english
contains the same content as line #3 in french.
i need the two boxes to syncronize, if someone scrolls and clicks on line 23
in the english side, it should scroll to line 23 in the french side, and the
same from french to english.

Hi Everyone,
The attached code creates client connections to websphere queue managers
and then processes an inquiry against them.
The program functions when it gets options from the command line.
It also works when pulling the options from a file.

Hello everyone!
I got a problem with creating new line...
I tried this: lstrcpy(NewLineIdr, TEXT("\r\n"));
I already tried this: NewLineIdr = 0x000D; NewLineIdr =
0x000A; NewLineIdr = 0x0000;
I need it to use it in my saving procedure because I need to create
tabullary text file. But my effort usually results in one or two small

I'm doing some text swapping with javascript, got it working fine, but
I would like the line to have line breaks and being a beginner, I
don't even know if this is possible.
So I have a line like this
swaptext('Shaun, Greg, Violet, Joel, 1999')";
and I would like 1999 to be on a new line. Is there a simple way to do
this? I'd swear I've seen a way, but now I can't seem to find it.

Sorry if this goes through twice, I had an error the first time that I
submitted.
I have a bit of text that has a varying length, and I'm wanting to
float text to the right. The problem is that the text needs to wrap to
2 lines instead of 1, and I'm wanting to float the text to the right
of the second line.

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it.
First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...
