Welcome to TSDN!

It is not quite clear to me what your question is. Please show some of your table structure and the form(s) that you are referring to. Also: what db are you using?

Hi, This is a strange problem I am encountering. I have a asp page with a confirmation.asp page that saves data to a table. There are few text fields that are captured by the confirmation page as l_f_name = Request.Form("txt_Name") l_f_personstitle = Request.Form("txt_Title") l_f_PhoneAreaCode = Request.Form("txt_PhoneAreaCode") l_f_Phone1 = Request.Form("txt_Phone1") l_f_Phone2 = Request.Form("txt_Phone2") l_f_Date =...

I edit data from a form by using docmd.close acform, formname, acsaveyes. The form closes properly and returns the control to the father form as it should be. The problem is that when from the father form I try to access the new data from the table which was related to the closed (child) form, for example using dlookup(), I can't retrieve new data. I have to close all the forms and restart the program to be able to read the new data from...

Hi, I've a question regarding saving the data. I noticed some of my recently-entered data mysteriously disappeared. There was nowhere to re-locate them. Plus, those data were entered within the same week. My colleagues and I have been cautiously avoided working on the same table simutaneously. Any reason why the data got lost? I appreciate your advice! Yang

I haven't been able to figure this out and would appreciate some help... I have two tables, both with autonumber primary keys, and linked in a conventional master-child relationship. I've created forms for both those tables, and inserted the child table form into the master table form as a subform. It works just as it is supposed to, in that I can create a new master record, and then add detail records.

Hi, Im wondering if anyone can help me with a problem. I have a form with more than 50 unbound fields. Some of the fields will be blank from time to time. This seems to be where im having trouble. I have tried keeping some of the fields bound and when I use the save button it has been saving as 2 different records. This is unacceptable. This is what I have, can anyone help me out with this?

I have a vb 2005 program that I am writing. It is just a form with a datagridview, textbox, and import command button. The code looks like this: Private Sub Form1_Load(ByVal sender As System.Object, ByVal e As System.EventArgs) Handles MyBase.Load 'TODO: This line of code loads data into the 'TestDbDataSet.TestTable' table. You can move, or remove it, as needed. Me.TestTableTableAdapter.Fill(Me.TestDbDataSet.TestTable)

I'm in Access 2007. I built a feature that to saves the current list in a sub form to a separate table. It works like this: After entering a list of words in the subform, the user can choose to push a button, and a dialog box appears. The user enters a name into the dialog box to identify the list for later use, presses OK and the list is saved. In the code, I'm using DoCmd.RunSql on the data in the table, so all the data in the sub form...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...
